July 3rd - 5th  Sheathing, windows, electrical rough, insulation & Tyvek

Just the windows and siding to do, just?  Siding removed July 11th              

Home Depot promising siding everyday until July 26th installed by 27th     

Work on the kitchen progressed in fits and starts, depending who was available to work, the weather,  and what else we had to do.  We still had to shop for materials and maintain the gardens and pop home every so often to do laundry etc.  Nothing is as straight forward as you would hope.  But we had a lot of experience to draw on between us and we needed every bit of it.  Monday to Friday Tony and I chipped away at anything that needed doing

 

July 11th Kitchen cabinets and bunk room wall removed 

July 11th Window opening framed, wall sheathed, electrical rough in

 July 12th  Luan panels carefully removed for reuse

 July 12th  Framing for new kitchen windows.  Bunks removed

July 13th New bathroom wall erected and braced

July 16th Closets demo July 19th Bathroom door widened to 24”

July 26th Flooring laid in kitchen and living room tip out

July 31st Mismatch Luan wall board re-installed
